They used to call me Turtle Man.

Well, the neighbors did at least— on account of all the turtles my best friend and I would wrangle out of the swamp when we were kids (we were both Turtle Man), but the first reptile I ever caught was, in fact, a lizard!

It was a green anole, anolis carolinensis, and it bit my finger. I don’t remember it hurting. All I remember is that I wanted to catch more.

I got my first camera specifically for wildlife photography, but eventually my interest in photography grew to include other niches…

So I did!

I never stopped catching lizards, and in junior year of high school I started capturing them with a camera too.

That’s where I started with photography. Lizards and other creatures I wanted to catch outside— Wildlife Photography!

Commercially, I focus on concerts and portraits, but I also experiment a lot with landscapes, Americana, product photos, and events!
